Carrie is an RN and she has a message:
"Do NOT thank me for my service or for my work or what I'm doing. DO NOT. It makes me feel crappy in a way I can't explain. If you want to thank me, wear a mask in public and protect everyone around you, wash your hands, be patient and quit thinking this is all a conspiracy, be responsible." - from Carrie's Facebook post.
While the world looks toward social media to argue the pros and cons of social distancing and mask wearing, Carrie and Brian had to sacrifice valuable time with his daughters as Carrie feared exposing the girls the virus. No politics, just hard sacrifice based on the reality of this pandemic. After months of separation, the girls were able to visit, though the visit was overshadowed by the fact that masks were worn by the entire family except when I shot them for a family portrait without the masks, but as you can see, Carrie still distanced herself from the girls for the shot, then the masks went back on. It was very moving to see this family come together, albeit briefly, and I shot them as they made their goodbyes for the day.
Carrie is by no means a stern woman. In fact she and Brian are an adventurous and fun loving couple with no shortage of mischievousness flickering in those eyes. Both are huge Buffalo Bills fans, so please don't say "Wide Right" while in their presence.
Samantha, the young lady with the pinkish hair, and Sydney are both college students adjusting to attending classes on remote platforms.
